Whether it is reported behind the scenes or not, the recipient of the disciplinary action should be informed of the details of the aforementioned infraction. Who reported it doesn't have to be revealed, however the offender should be able to see what they did wrong.
His concern is not unwarranted.
Agreed, but Beersurfer seems to have left out that the message he received had both a quote of his infraction, and also a link to it.
