Is missing Games a tactic or foulplay

Ive realised that some miss games as tactic,
i always believed if u miss 2 games, its game over, but true is

you can miss 2 games, play the third, then after miss 2 games play the third,
miss 2 games , play always the third game, and so on, without being pushed off the game.

Now is it intended to play this style sometimes as tactic, or is it unwellcome?
I want to be a fairplayer, but if its in my interessts to miss sometimes a game,
i would like to know.

Whats your observation , and what do you think?

For whatever reasons a player is missing his turn intentionally, he is more of delaying the game and just being annoying. Although, you may give the impression that you are not coming back and trick your opponents to let their guard down against you, but that's about it. You are not really getting an advantage when missing a turn. As much as possible, you should play your turns when you have the opportunity to take it.

I cannot agree with that. In escalating games you can benefit a lot from missing a turn.

pretty much wrong.. in escalating you can gain a huge advantage... in standard or team games you can also gain a nice little troop advantage if people are not smart enough to attack the player that has missed their turn. so, there is actually quite a bit to be gained by missing a turn in games...-el Jesus negro

Whether tactic or foul I don't know. I do know is ANYONE who misses turns whether he be General or Cook has earned a place on my foe list.
