Script on freestyle map?

Postby Donelladan on Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:47 am

Hello everyone,

I suspect that my opponent used a kind of script/software to start his turn automatically on a freestyle map ( just two of us remaining).
Is that allowed by the rules?

no it isn't, but if it's a speed game he could also simply put a weight on 'b'. Clickable maps works fantastically too.

It was not a speed game.
And, wow i find it is quite unfair using a programme to start a map for u but now i know that i'll get equiped.

ive read this b button thing now couple of times,
i believed that was a joke,
now i havent tried it yet, but what is happening if u keep the b button pressed in the game?
do you get more time? or what advantage do you get out of it?
and if it is so obvious and well known, did conquerclub not get rid of it?
thx for any answer

not a joke.
nothing.
no. you get to start fast
can't
you are welcome

and slightly more elaborate(and over the top as well).
The add-on for clickies allows you to start your turn at the press of the B button, for begin...
As long as a person is making the moves and thus initiates the turn, thats fine. But having a script doing this for you automaticly in every game is a crime. Basicly putting a wieght on the B button in 1 game is allowed. Even if it was not allowed, how would one prove it anyways? While a script doing this leaves more evidence, or so i have been told. I am not a hunter so dont take my word for it.
The main advantage is that if e.g. you hold a bonus, you get the troops before someone else has the chance to break it, that is quite the advantage. Obviously this does not always apply, hence it not always being such a problem.

Not true. There is no evidence. CC has no idea what I am running on computer other than what is included in my useragent.
