Why are my teammates BOB snapshots in chinese?

As of just a coupledays ago my teammates's snapshots show up in chinese jibberish, while mine show up in phoenician jibberish. Does anybody know why? Note- none of my teammates are in china nor are they to my knowledge chinese

Ate the snapshots working for you?
I believe that a recent update to BOB changed the way snapshots store information (by using these other characters) in order to store more information.
What version of BOB are you using currently?

Yeah you have the old version of bob I'm guessing

Yep, that's the good explanation. As your post shows, the new snapshots are a lot smaller. Which is why it should work for every map now (except extreme circumstances, like BR's on large maps and very high amounts of troops on huge maps).
