At what point did he violate the guidelines?

If I were to start playing against NR's how many games could I play before I was in violation of the guideline?

Twice a month?

I think you are twisting Lack's words here....

This does not mean you will get in trouble for joining a game here and there with many new recruits. We are only talking about the systematic targeting of new recruits.

though I agree that these farming rules are to vague and have been manipulated by many....

where I believe lack's real statement is saying that its ok if you find yourself in a game with 4/5 NR's in it from time to time....

the following guideliines are NOT rules, but its good enough for me..
do not join games as the last player where multiple nr's are present nor 1vs1.
do not create multiple games with settings only or mostly nr's join.
is that so hard to do? we know you can win against nr's, you do to, so why not simply stay away. Now if they join a few of your games, that is not a problem, but you joining 100 games with nr's out of say 1000 is blatant farming in my book.
luckely for you, i do not make, nor enforce the rules on this so that it as wisdom if you please, but its not a ruling.
