Why is your favorite map, your favorite map? Details please

I like to deviate from the popular maps (feudal, stalingrad, arms race, etc...) and find greatness in the oddballs.

1st: Cricket - Layers upon layers of gameplay, especially quads.
2nd: South Africa - A quirky beauty that grows on the player the more you play it; perfectly sized for a 5-6 player escalating.
3rd: Three Kingdoms of Korea - Also a graphical oddball that grows on the player, but blends in a unique gameplay.

Also would like to add that christmas is my personal favorite but is only offered for a short time each year. Never change it!

I don't think I've played the South Africa map too often, but I do like the gameplay too.

I have a hard time saying there is any map this is my all time favorite, but I play a lot of games on Germany because I think I've got a decent understanding of how to win on that map, and so winning on it certainly contributes to my favoritism of it!

For the number of games I've played total, yes! A lot relative to that. Well maybe not a lot, but it feels like a lot. Haha
