Sponsors/Sycophants wanted

Postby Chariot of Fire on Fri Jan 06, 2012 5:22 am

So here's the plan.....

Having played the game and learned all the loopholes I'm going to strive to be your new Conqueror (yes, that's what the title implies). I trust this will meet with your approval:

1. I shall change my user name to something totally divorced from the real me, because my methods may become rather nefarious. When I say 'divorced' I mean something you can't associate me with in real life, e.g. Gen.Leeliked, Maj.Ityloveme, Pvt.Partsunabused or any other such puerile moniker that represents something contrary to the 'real me' or how I am perceived/treated. OK?

2. I will check all the newest CC members and, once they have a few games' experience under their belt, I shall invite them (individually) to any one of the large number of private 1v1 games I have set up. These won't be any ordinary private games though; they will be created on a complex map and with freestyle gameplay so that the poor suckers have no idea of what they are getting into! Let's face it....freestyle, after just a few regular games on the site thinking they were playing Risk! as they had done throughout their childhood on the dining room table? Hahahaha, it'll be easy pickings.

3. To make it all look 'above board' so as to avoid circumspection by the site mods and/or ridicule by others I shall do my bit of altruistic duty (but not really). I'll profess to be teaching newcomers to the site, but of course this will only be done after I have harvested their points, hehe. What I will then do is simply copy and paste the same PM to every victim of mine with all the strategy they need to know to win on, say, Waterloo (I mean c'mon, what could be simpler than sending out the same PM to each one and making it look 'personal' haha). They will think I'm God for having divulged all the necessary tactics on how to win and possibly forgive me for having points-raped them over a series of games. The funny part is I shall thereafter either foe them or simply never invite them again, thus releasing a 'wolf in cook's clothing' upon an unsuspecting CC public who I shall never have to play again. The next time that a cadet beats a colonel on Waterloo you can probably thank me. Am I not great for this site, and don't I make the scoreboard more dynamic?
"What's the payoff?" you may ask. Well, I shall record a note in chat at the end of each game, giving that particular player a rank and prospect. I don't doubt that he or she will go off with his/her new-found wealth of knowledge and rack-up a lot of nice points so that I may fleece that person once more (and on a friendly basis no less!). So you see, I benefit from winning lots of points from a patsy and then later I watch and laugh as that cook beats unsuspecting officers whose rank gets lowered, thus bettering my prospects of standing alone on a pedestal. Brilliant! I'm sure by now you can see my conquering ways. And there's more!

4. If I'm really lucky I'll find an innocent youngster who has newly-joined. Someone of around 11 years of age who probably doesn't know any better. Then, to the maximum extent possible (until maybe he is booted for being a multi as he had to set-up a secondary account due to accepting all my invites and thus not being able to play a game he enjoyed or had a chance in) I shall dupe him into joining my games by inviting him and befriending him (yes, I am low enough to do this). I reckon over the course of four weeks I could scavenge a lot of points off him by winning, say, 19 out of 19 games. Don't worry though - dear sponsor or supporter - I won't invite him to that many games unless I know he is only a child, so I won't be taking any unnecessary risks with my points. Sorry for emboldening so much text in this paragraph, but that part did get me particularly excited at the thought of those easy points from one so young. There really should be a law against it!

5. "How to get fresh meat?" you may ask. Good point. I won't deny it will be a boring and soulless 'no life' job trawling through the new members, looking for prospects, and hooking them at the opportune time. I have therefore created the ultimate foggy ruse. What I shall do is create tournaments open only to sergeants and lower and thereby create my own personal butcher's window. I shall call it The Hansel & Gretel ploy. Needless to say I will be able to determine who to farm next, whilst at the same time puffing out my chest and saying "Lookee here at all [insert sponsor's name here] does for this site!"

6. Hmmmm, what's pt.6? I guess I've already revealed what my strategy will be to amass a load of points and reach the top. Oh I know! I shall make a point of going to the C&A forum and identifying cheats and multis (they say it takes one to know one!) because there's bound to be some little blighter that wins a game off me now and then (must be a multi!), so I'll shop him or her to the powers-that-be. That may also put me in good stead with the admin whilst keeping the heat off me.

So come on, do you wish to support my new gameplan or not? It's really not difficult and only involves me spending mind-numbing hours-on-end playing the same map over and over again against people with whom I shall never become acquainted, so what should we care? OK, so it might screw up the scoreboard a tad, cause some officers to lose games to cooks I gave a good thrashing to as I taught them their 1,2,3s, and alienate a lot of freemiums from the site; but hey....you'll have a new Conqueror to worship and you can all kiss my nads (if you're not an officer of course).

Yours,

Maj.Sociopath-Scumbag Esq, CCCITM

*snickers*

although i found the stratguide to emdizzles success a bit more amusing, (and also informative as Ijex showed a couple of month after) this is also right on point..
although bruce and company doesnt seem to mind, so lets see how any person following this guide might also stand up in the clan-scene where freestyle-tactics does not play in..

although i hear some clans have instated one über-fürer who sort of does most of the actual plans anyways.. :-^
one of the more notorious mega-minds is ofcourse in that very clan.. and the other one has settled down to a quiet life as a satirical writer it seems ;)

OMG, you and Master Bush need to find a good doctor. You are full of hate, obsession and frustration.
Your crusades against other players/clans is insane. Typical that these players/clans mostly are number 1 ranked.

You are telling Natty Dread and you have differing perspectives ? Natty only comes here for the forums and a few games and that the game is not as important to him as having something to say about it. You come here for the games and a few posts ?

I trully think you are a great player in a great clan but i will never understand your obsession/frustration vs other members/clans. You trully need to accept other cc members perspectives, playingstyle, games , posts and everything else. Let people do what they want to do.
Act like 99 % members of CC. Play your games and enjoy the time on CC. Maybe someday you or your clan will be number 1 ranked .
You or your clan will then get the credits and grats from others. I am sure even from Kortmembers. You know why ?
Because Kort is not full of hate/obsessions or frustrations!

??? I'm just proposing a gaming strategy. Don't tell me you've found a flaw in it!

And thanks for the encouragement re being #1. Actually TOFU was the #1 ranked clan for a large part of 2010/11, so that's really not what motivates me (it used to). And being Conqueror? Never really my aspiration, as my game types will attest. rabbit on is the only one from memory who I think was worthy of holding that mantle.

Why can't you simply let people vent their spleen when they wish to, without taking umbrage to it? Ignore it and it might just go away, for your reply only warrants further response. Full of hate, obsession and frustration? Full of red wine right now, that may explain a lot. But yes, I hate abusers, I'm obsessed with playing on CC, and I'm frustrated that my obsession is spoiled by those who abuse the system. Ah, that must be it! Thanks.

MasterBush, GLG and CoF would make a great sitcom.

Or reality show.

It looks like someone has already implemented step 1 of The Plan, years in advance! Very prescient.

It does not bother you..........even a little bit...that all of the hard work you put into becoming a conqueror yourself gets cheapened by sleazy tactics and well....lets just call it "Conduct Unbecoming and Officer" ? Well perhaps you clawed your way to the top in similar fashion? Do you feel compelled to justify this losers actions to detract from the guilt cultivated from your own path to #1 on the scoreboard? Please! Do tell!
If classifying someone as a hater only requires the person in question to decry the obvious abuse of the spirit of the site, then pour me a glass of Hator-Aid. I'm thirsty for justice.

I'm currently a M-Sgt. Four weeks ago, a Major.
Why is this? Because if I wish to play on the site with my preferred maps and settings, luck becomes an overwhelming factor. If I choose to focus on rank, : 8 man esq's, and then I'm back on top in no time.

What this means: Rank is not necessarily the chief indicator of skill, and congratulating or defending a conqueror that got there by the equivalent of raping an entire daycare and calling themselves a ladies-man indicates your complete and total lack of either honor, or perspective.

I think everyone should just put a * by his name and file it under the same heading as all the other conquerors who dishonor the position by compensating for either hard work, or skill, with cunt-head tactics like these. ( Or get so obsessed with regaining the crown you need to flat out cheat to get it back. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Blitz. )

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work. Will you still have time for clan games? Or is TOFU going to go social again until you get back?

Sorry Kort has taken this path. I myself not even a year ago thought of Kort as a the most withstanding clan. A clan only admitting the best and the most honest players, yes they were new, but i ultimatly believed they would reach the top in an honorable way. Always looking out for the greater good, just like the name implies, The Knight of the Round Table, too bad they have turned their back on to their roots, and have even edited their recruting memo as to not state anything about honour as had previously been the case. I truly do not understand why such a clan would actively recruit a player with relatively no team experience and so many C&A reports against him.

haha, what? Approximately a year ago the original poster and his sycophants of the time were quite ceaselessly and maliciously haranguing KORT in the forums, so many people did not share your favorable opinion. But thank you, anyway, for your previous good thoughts.

Untrue. The only thing that has changed about our clan information post (viewtopic.php?f=438&t=82353&start=0#p1933298) in the past almost three years is the list of members. I'm not sure what you used as the basis of your claim, but if you scroll down about 10 posts or so you'll see a quote of the initial message.

Our recruiting philosophy has remained unchanged for almost 3 years - we want skilled, friendly players.

WOW nearly everyone of these threads about GLG has the same 4/5 KORT members all jumpin in to try and defend this guy....it makes me laugh how desperate you all are to try and justify how he plays....

I dont think this is over by a long-shot.....Cof has it bang on with his OP

this wannabe player has SCAMMED his way to the top of the scoreboard and Team CC has turned a blind eye towards it...

in GLG's defence he usual comes out with something like this...

Gen.LeeGettinhed wrote:2)stealing 4-8 pts from people? the CC formula of (loser/winnerx20) puts me at risk of 9:1-25:1. . .900%-2500% so I offset that and don't like to lose, CC has created the formula we live with -- I'm just living with it
5)Maps: the ones I chose do 2 thngs for me: minimize shite drops (you know: bonuses, 4/5-7/8 bonuses that you all complain about) and offset risk in #2 above. I found a way to avoid that.

Gen.LeeGettinhed wrote:4) no where do you admit/note that I take a HUGE risk playing low ranks (some times give away 20-25:1 on points) so I use whatever I can do to offset that.
GLG

which I can kind of understand...it gets annoying the further up the ranking u go the more points u can lose to lower rank players but after looking into GLG's games more closely its very clear he has been doing this for over 3 years now.....

I would pinpoint this game as the beginning of his SCAM to get to the top......Game 3374046 - 2008-10-01 00:50:15 - Game has been initialized
(3 months into GLG's CC career - Stats = 373 GP, score 1815)

so in 3 years he has gone from a score of 1815..... to 4953...I was not around 3 years ago but maybe back then 1815 points was top of the table sort of score and u needed to do as you say...."so I use whatever I can do to offset that"

I cant believe that the owner (lack) and his admins have allowed this to continue for so long and by constantly ignoring this SCAM they are setting a precedent for more players to take up the GLG way of playing CC....

very soon the Live Chat Call-outs will be like a saloon in a Wild West movie....all the COWBOYS sitting around waiting for some stranger to walk in...............

"Howdy partner your not from around these parts?"
