What is the correct strategy for this map?

in 1v1 it is very important taht you make sure that you go first
in multiplayer it is important that you make sure you take your opponents bonuses rather than neutrals when possible

2 strats for 1v1 (a bit more serious)

v1) you try to grab 2 terr from 3 of your 4 startingpoint while dropping on the 4th

v2) you wait 1 round and then go all out trying to grab as big a bonus as you can (if you bump into your opponent you ofcourse attack him rather than neutrals)

but since the bonuses get really big really quickly its mostly down to dice in the initial rounds on this map.. if you cna get advantage early on and find yur oponent it wil be nearly impossible for him to come back..

bigger single-games i would try to hang back a bit and then go for someone elses bonus.. dont take the terr adjacent to the base and try to grow..
stack up until oblivion and then when you have a huge stck go for the kill remember the -1 decay and that if you kill the homebase all of their troops on the map will become neutral..

Okay. I tried to do that in this game: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=10144549 It worked okay. I didn't see the shelf resetting to neutral on my first game on this map. Live and learn, I guess.

I thought he was going to win though. We just fought back and forth. Then I finally had enough to get the middle after several turns of storing troops.
