You have probably missed the thread in which a cook accused me of conducting secret diplomacy with his own teammate in our 2v2 game.

If you are suggesting I ignored most of what you wrote, you would indeed be 100% correct. :D

AA what I was saying about going first is given reasonable dice. You are probably the best 2.1 player out there, but I'm no slouch, and I think if we played 1v1 on that board if I go first and have reasonable dice it would be hard for you to win. If we played a 15 game series on that board I bet you'd win.

Given average reasonable dice, going first is absolutely an advantage, and I would expect you to win every game if you went first...or at least after the first game I whipped you at least. :D

Still though, it depends on the settings. If its unlimited, there's almost no hope for me if you play a reasonable game with reasonable dice. If its chained, even with reasonable dice, slightly skewed in my favor, I might have a chance.

As far as being the best, all I can say is I have no idea. I have spent a lot of time playing with and against some of the best players on the site. I have a fairly developed strategy, that seems to work most of the time, however, it is very much based on some assumptions, that I know may not be correct. Over time, I know Ill win the majority of games, but I still never truly know if Im playing it perfect, which is why its still fun as hell to play.

As a footnote: On another site I played a similar map and on speed games won almost 80 in a row unless I accidentally deadbeated. :D

It was hypothetical. There's no way you'd get most of the players on the first page to play the same type of game against each other in the first place. If they would however, a good way to sort out the best player on the site would be to follow my suggestion.

No sense in commenting on something you've barely read. Although I must confess, I do that myself sometimes :-# .

I am better at 2.1 in 8 person doubles or 8 person singles. Its not a specialist board in the sense that something like City Mogul is, but there is skill in reading what other people will do with the drop and in knowing that good players on the map will play the drop differently than average or bad players. I believe I have that skill, which doesn't really apply to 1v1.

World games are great for multi player if for no other reason that there is plenty of space and numbers to avoid being absolutely noobed as often.
