Oh dearest, friends, moderaters, neighbors, etc...

Did there not used to be a "general discussion" forum, which was non-related to CC?? In that, if I wanted to chat about, oh, I don't know, cookies and rainbows, or shotguns, or other topics which are non related to CC; did it get deleted?
