AOR3 Maybhem

every region has its advantages and disadvantages. but what about sanctuary?? i cant see any benefit of starting there and it is a huge disadvantage. clearly i think i'm missing something, so can anybody care to enlighten me?

no runes, no villages....

the area´s that are connecting to other ports are all +1 per capital, so its huge

Sanctuary's blood water on that map is almost broken good 2 defense each directly attackable from Sanctuary +2(1 per starting point) each. I just had that map earlier today and landed Sanctuary, my opponent didn't have a chance.

and can the blood waters be bombarded by any port yes? so it basically depends on how early your opponent goes for a port. late, and you win with sanctuary, early and you probably lose.

you bombard the bloodbwaters, someone else enters you through the port you just opened. Many do not open up a port in fog. But in sunny, yes, obviously

No, as long as you get the bonus 1 time you will win. I love starting at sanctuary because its so easy to win on it.

so deploy all reinforcements on sanctuary, grab as many blood waters as possible and hopefully with any luck its in the bag?

But is there any way to capture Sanctuary if you don't start on it?

I'm looking and it seems there's only one-way attacks going out. Is there no way in?
