American Civil War map Q

My Q:

On American Civil War map with fog of war on can the union ships see the troops on Maryland if they are a different player's? Maryland can one way attack these ships so can see them but I am wondering if the vision works the other way too?

No, you can only see what you can attack with fog of war games. As you can't attack them, you can't see them...it adds a bit of mystery (^_^)

obviously if you read the log and you see an ? attacking your ship you know that it could come from maryland...
what you cannot see, but stil attacks you is outside of your vision, but there are a limited amount of options so you have to guess a little, mostly it makes sense. thats the fun of fog
