Player Clubs or Guilds ....

Postby JohnCates on Thu Apr 05, 2007 10:36 am

Instead of all these private games, I think we should have player clubs or guilds inside of CC. This allows and player to join a game started by a player in that club/guild without knowing the password.

A player may still play open games, but can also start games in which only a member of his/her club may join. With these clubs, you can obtain players you feel "safe" playing with, in knowing you are gettng a fair game.

If you club/guild wants to allow loose talk, then you know up front (for players like dugcarr1). If you want something cleaner, then you know up front what you are getting into.

I would suggest, maybe, you have one person (of a higher rank) open a guild, they can then recuit or "accept" applications to be part of that club/guild. You can figure out the minor details, but I think this could work well and keep most players happy.

Just a thought .... I am so tired of all this so called cheating .. it just gets old after awhile. So many people confuse stupidity with cheating its silly.

This could work!

Great idea! I hate when people join my games and then they start crying about the way I play. I'm too lazy to go and look for a game in the callouts forum.

Public Games
Private Games
Club Games

Sounds good... Shouldn't this topic be in the suggestions forum?
