What happens when...?

Postby firthy19 on Wed Apr 04, 2007 1:18 pm

In an Assassin game you eliminate somebody elses opponent?
Are they out or do they get their original target's target?
Doubles win/loss with my brother firth4eva
Won 15-2 Lost

Open for any challenges.

The game ends and whoever was targeting the person you eliminated wins.

I don't understand the second question, but to answer the first, "somebody else" wins and the person who won it for them looks like a total jackass.

Game over, thanks for playing.

If you eliminate someone else's target the player whose target you eliminated wins.

Which, of course, means that you lose.

Apparently this is a source of confusion for some, because it seems to happen more than you'd think.

If I played assassin games I think the first thing I would do is state in game chat:

This is an assassin game, if you eliminate someone else's target he wins and you lose, everyone understands that right? Welcome, good luck everyone.

It's kind of like those little flags they put on top when they install stop signs for the first time at an intersection that didn't have them before.

It's worth doing because amazingly people don't seem to notice what type of game they join sometimes.
Cheers,
