misuse of power

You know this is really a sorry state of affairs when one person can decide what another person may think or assume is wrong and then levy some sort of punishment against them. What am I talking about? recently I was given a 72 hr suspension from the forum or looking up players profiles because Evil Semp (a Moderator on this site) decided because I had reported too many people for being suspected multis or having some sort of outdated agenda. Now to be honest this was not the first time I had a runin with this so called fair and impatial jerk.Seems like every time I complained I was being called parinoid or told to play easier games because thats just the way it is. The one time he ever ruled in my favor was a misteak on my part. lol. Now I know that it probally dont mean shit to you guys But Im not a computer nerd like most of you But I dont really undestand some of the crap you got to go thru to do it the right way. I pay my fees every year so you can correct my minor little errors,and I can enjoy my games. Well you can forget that next year. After the way I was treated its back to freeminum for me. And next time I play some jerk who I have supisions about I will just let it go. See your little program worked. One less complainer you have to worry aboutso you can get back to your own psudeo importance.

Ok, look, I checked out a couple of threads you started on C&A...

You were rightfully banned. You seem to be posting spurious reports about someone every time a game doesn't go your way...

We call this "victim mentality". Because you make yourself the victim of every situation.

ws1 please post the PM you got explaining the ban. It had nothing to do with your C&A reports, but it has everything to do with your past behavior. If you aren't afraid of the truth then let them know what the truth is.

get some thicker skin. i dont know if your where rightfully banned of not but i dont care to check for myself but i can say the mods are not prefect and make mistakes and you have to just suck them up they do there best and are in the right most of the time.

Evil Semp is one of the most fair and impartial individuals I have come across on this site. Prior to looking into your claims, I tended to side with him, simply for that reason. After looking at your situation, it only completely reinforced that position...you deserved the sanction. I suggest you learn from your experience rather than whining about some nonexistent misuse of power.

You guys are too quick to kiss a mods ass when someone like this comes forward with a complaint. This guy has no friends, seems to be paranoid, and has trouble writing a readable paragraph.

But someone show me in the CC rules where you get suspended for looking up profiles. In my experience Evil Semp is a "jajajaja lol" cc powerhappy know it all ass. Which like I said makes me "JAJAJA lol".

I mean.. lol, he really is.

I just wonder how someone gets suspended for looking up profiles... I think in this case because he is unpopular.

edit- and Jeff, every negative comment on a forum is not a bait or flame. You guys call him a good guy... I disagree. I refuse to call an apple a orange. I use descriptive words to describe a person. Because I could care less if he likes my description of him- does not = a flame or bait. Only mu opinions. For whatever they are worth.. likely nothing.

For my part, I don't remember having seen this "ws1" character before this thread, so any perceived "unpopularity" had zero affect on me. Having started this thread simply highlights the guy's problem, in my view. And in my experience, Evil Semp is absolutely one of the more level-headed mods on this site, and I say that having had several disagreements with the guy. And I'm really not one that does too much of what someone might consider asskissing on this site...I think I'm fairly roundly disliked by mods and non-mods alike, which is fine by me. Oh, and "looking up profiles" wasn't the issue, for God's sake.

But at face value it looks like a legitimate gripe.

Just because the guy is new, or an "Ass" , or "paranoid" doesnt really mean a lot to me. ITs not against the rules to be any of those or to look up too many profiles.

I am good at perl. I could put together a script right now that would crawl through every single profile here , recording all the info and locations and such in an excel file.
There is no rule against this here.

Well, the alleged reason (PM would show) is not spurious reports, but from what natty posted on the links, looks like spurious C&A reports to me.

I believe I said that the issue wasn't looking up profiles. In fact, I never even considered at all that was the problem. And making frivolous C&A accusations IS something that someone can be sanctioned for, and he wouldn't be the first. MANY have been warned about it. In my opinion, it would be justified in his case.

However, Evil Semp has stated that was not the problem. In addition, Evil Semp has suggested that ws1 should make the email he received public, so that "ws1 could better defend himself"...I notice silence on ws1's part, in that regard. I can't imagine why that would be...can you?

I think I know what I'm talking about when I say this.

Everyone makes mistakes. Evil semp makes them, wood makes them, ws makes them. If someome messes up ask why it happened. My little bro got a live chat ban for defending himself. He asked, unfourtunatly he didn't get an answer. His twin got banned with his friend by evil semp(yes I will hold that over it head forever

but evil semi is one of the best mods I've seen he's good and dose not judge. So maybe you desirved it maybe not. You can suck it up a little and realize someone maybe made a mistake. I'm not saying evil did or didn't make a mistake I'm just saying it happens
