Ahh! Deadbeating triples partners

Postby Iliad on Fri Mar 23, 2007 7:31 pm

Okay I signed up for a triples game and my first partner has missed 2 of his three turns (not consecutive). My other partner ran out of time on his first one and missed his second. I'm pretty screwed.I mean we would've won so easily if my partner s were deadbeating: I have the Aurient the only border with an enemy is fortified with 5 armies. My partner controls Rims islands and Hubward waste, meaning that I have a "safe" continent. All he had to do was fortify his continent and we would have two continents giving us a a total bonus of 6. with all my partner had to do is fortify Rim islands which he controlled.

But he missed the turn and one of my opponents has captured half his territories and captured Bes pelargic. I guess my point is I'm playing by myself in a triples game!!!

Just keep plugging on to the end. The other team will take notice of that and should give you positive feedback about your determination. And then, cherry pick your games and look for people with rank and good feedback.

We all get hung with dead beats, its a part of the system, and unfortunate part, but we all have to deal with it.
