Question about deadbeat and cards

I was wondering if this would apply to escalating ´regular´ games as well, or only to terminator games? I am asking this to be sure when i try to count cards, If it applies to esc. as well then one of my opponants has 5 cards instead of 2.....

It applies in all games. Everyone who enters a game will - except the winner - loose points.

Also: In team games, a dead beat's armies will go to his parter(s) when he's kicked out.

I am going to test this out, even if it kills my game.
I can see how regular games make you loose points, and deadbeating in terminator prevented you from loosing those points. But my question related to the armies and cards left behind by a deadbeating player.

If you play a 6 player regular escalating game and a player with 4 cards deadbeats, does the person who clears out the last remaining neutral terretory get those 4 cards?
This is tricky because there are 2 players who went deadbeat and one had no cards to mention. I would not want to be the one to elliminate the 1 card player and someone else ending the 4 card player... The countries inhibited by the now deadbeating player are not shown in the list, so you have to have good memory to remember who had what country...

And i am still not sure that deadbeating in a regular escalating game will keep those cards in play. I guess i could ask my opponant how many cards he has.... sigh

No. When the player goes, his cards go as well. Clearing out the now neutral armies won't give you any cards.

Now I need to remember that you can get the cards when its terminator though. Makes it interesting again...

Huh? Why cant you download Firefox? You don't have to replace you existing browser. It's really not hard to do.

Most likely because most employers do not want their employees to download new programs on the computers set up at the workplace. It may not be a matter of can or cannot, probably more an issue of not being suppose to install Firefox.

Well in this case its really, cannot. I cant even save anything except for word and excell, and only then to appointed folders...sigh. paranoid employers...
Its not like i spend every hour online playing games...eh.. well not every hour

Well. I agree partly. I find it a bit arcane that I cannot use Firefox and Skype on the fixed computer provided by the employer (although I can on the laptop). But, on the other hand, I see the point. It’s an easy way to shore up virus problems. If you know exactly what programs that are suppose to be on all computers, you can run a standardized, centralized search each night sweeping for spyware etc.

Firefox is fine, because it is an open source. But most employers will prohibit installing Skype, because of its proprietary communication protocol and "closed" source.
