So my friend and I are exploring the monster map in a 1 vs 1 enviroment.
The question of shields has come up in our game.
In the lower portion of map in text it clearly states "shields reset to 8 EVERY TURN", yet the other player had attk two shields, one down to 3, an the other down to 1. He broke thru neither obviously and wasn't able to get to the wizard.
The next turn came around and there was no reset. They stayed as 1 & 3 shield neutral respectively for several turns until he punched thru later and took the shields, and one of the two wizards.
THEN (and only then, after he took it completely) it reset to 8 for me to bust thru.
So in review:
1) is this how the map was intended?
2) if so, why does it say the shields reset to 8 "each turn" when clearly that isn't so.
Either a) text on map should be changed
b) this is a bug and not the way it's supposed to be
or c) I'm missing somethig, which I don't think is the case.
