Why i think to leave CC

Postby Kaelotar on Sat Aug 14, 2010 10:48 pm

Hi everyone

First... sorry to my bad english... ill try of my best to make u understand me

I found this site 3 or 4 weeks before... looking for a online risk game... 24 hours after playing here... i bough one year membership for me and i paid a one year membership to a friend... after these weeks... i can tell to u... im early bored of this site... why? Because of old players... they dont accept new ppl... they want to see only guys with the same experience of them who played like 5000 games... but we are at 300 and less... and to play 300 i do many and many games in 3 or 4 weeks... Why i said they dont accept new ppl... they just want to have the more incredible screen... and when u do a little error... they tell u many insult... but its hard to play the best when u never saw a map or play only 2 or 3 times in it.

See these exemples:
CamelToe: told me im a idiot today because he came in a team with me and after one turn... i dont give him the amount of beginning troops he wanted
ChrisBeerens: he tell me im a stupid noob player looking for good dices to win because i beat him 1vs1
dolohov: (u suck... really)... because i attack him after a none stop attack from him (at this time we are both lost to another)
Mageplunka: noob
ryanweb: i saw u play with the other (because he lost against me in a 3 guys map... but if u see on the log i never play before with the other guy)
The_Dayman: He told me many times im a idiot because i attacked him
۩░▒▓₪№™℮₪▓▒░۩ : he told me im a shit because i didnt read his screen before going in his game (he just want to play against 1400 points and more but if i see his rating everyone in this site hate him)

And that continue...

i dont know what ill do... but giving my money to a site where ppl hate new becomers like here... bah...
if u want my litlle opinion... this site can be better if u satisfied old players and new players like this:

- For old players: put a new option: game for :
less than 1000 points, 1250/1500 points, 1501/2000 points, 2001/3000points, 3000+points
or
per grades

- For new players: give many moderators title to old players who won community respect after years (or month) and these moderators are there to give a 24 hours bans to any insult.

There other way than insults to make new ppl get the way to win a new map...

Don't let some dicks ruin the site for you.

Keep going to the forum, you'll meet some friends who will be fun to play with. Perhaps join a clan.

I'll play some if you're interested.

Indeed. Many of the players you listed are people who don't play well with others. There's loads of fun people here, just gotta keep playing. And make sure to put the assholes on your foe list.

I assure you that most of the people here are nice and that you should try to play games with them and foe those who you have had a bad experience with as then they cant join your games (you can still join theirs so be cautious).

Its one of the best reasons to consider banning new recruits from joining or being joined by players with low ratings. In any case, the percentage of bad players to good is extremely small. The problem is the bad ones can be extremely bad.

Foe, move on, and have a blast.

You've had some bad luck mate, 3-4 of the people you mentioned are immature idiots.

I can advise you to make a thread in callouts asking for an experienced doubles partner to teach you the ropes. I did that, and after trying out a few different partners I found one that was to my liking :) We're still playing together all the time.

I see your Canadian, but English is not your first language? If it's French then I'd suggest finding a French speaking player to play team games with, if it's some other language, perhaps your Native American, then you may have a more difficult time finding partners.

Perhaps as someone mentioned, join the society of cooks?

Don't let a few morons ruin your CC experience, ignore the bad eggs, and give it a little more time, CC is a lot of fun. Good luck!

If those guys can turn you away from wanting to play games... just wait until you get to know some of the mods around here...You won't be spending any more money.

I can be rude to the veterans if I see them make a stupid move. I am also not above taking advise from a rookie if his advise is sound. My experience with the newer players has shown that often times, when their advise is against the standard, they follow their own ideas anyways. Many maps game play tactics, in team games, are rather standard and most vets know how to manipulate those maps accordingly. If protocol for those maps is followed then then those types of games will come down to dice, position, and who makes the fewest mistakes. Game settings also can affect the tactics of particular maps as well. I agree with the above post that mentions trying out the Society of Cooks are some other mentoring program before you leave the site. I have played on several risk or risktype site over the past couple of decades and CC is clearly the best site I have found. Sure it might get dull from time to time, as anything will, but it is up to us, as individuals, to find ways to make it interesting and enjoyable. Bottom line is that nobody can make you enjoy or despise anything but you.

Word of advice mpjh....give a link to the society

http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=341 Join the society of cooks. You can learn even if you are a very good player. They can help in certain strategies a great deal.

Don't let some whiney kids spoil your fun. There are many good players and good people here.

like some have already said the players you have mentioned are proberly some of the worst on the site. beside there names you will see a rating check the rating of players before you join also click on there names and read the ratings recieved.this will tell you what 2 expect from the players. also some might get over heated in games ie racist bigotry etc or even take it 2 wall and pm comments if this happens report straight away in the c and a forum.

ps gl in future games and have fun
