Has there ever been someone on Conquer club that has started out so well? He could be up into the general points and only be a lieutenant or a captain, i think that is incredible!

wow!!! do we have another blitzaholic, or is this a legitimate claim to fame???

I think its your multi account.

That was my first thought. I am off to go cheak this guy out. My money is on multi, but Luck and skill could have something to do with it. Or it is a older players NEW account. I dunno. I am throwing out crap about why this person might be better than me. I think he cheats!

I've seen Nathan BJ as I constantly check the Scoreboard for people higher rated than me with fewer games. There's a few others worth note as well. Stratagem has had a score well over 2000 and been in the top 100 since he was a lieutenant (fewer than 40 games, not sure what he had at 19). styx666 has a score of 1876 with only 32 games, and his score has gone down the the last 10 or so (maybe higher than Nathan BJ's at 19 games? I don't know, I'm too lazy to check the logs and do the math).

All 3 of them play the exact same type of games: Standard, Escalating, Unlimited. This can be fantastic for points early, but as your score gets higher you get fewer and fewer points for winning and lose more and more for losing. You need to win nearly all your games to keep raising your score, and that simply isn't going to happen in singles games. You can try and combat this by playing in Colonel games, but then all of your opponents are a lot better and you will still eventually hit another cap, just a higher one.

Most of the highest rated people play team games. They don't get very much for winning, but they win the majority of the time. It's the slow, but reliable way to keep increasing your score once you're over 2000.

I'm sure he's a great player and all, but I don't give Nathan good odds of making even 3000 simply because of the game type he plays, and he certainly won't get to 5000.

That's an excellent start to be certain, but its difficult to compare starts of the past to what people can do today since point inflation in the top ranks is so high.

#U had the most impressive score for a low number of games back in the day. qeee1 has always been a top dog in that department. Robinette and NUKE reached 3000 blazing fast. etc etc

Like everyone else though, he will hit losing streaks and drop down a bit. The higher you get the harder it is to make forward progress. However the more people with a high score, the easier it is to get a high score yourself (that's the problem with comparing point values).

Anyway, I remember I was just shy of getting 2000 under 40 games. My goal was to get that mark while I was still a Lieutenant. Shortly after that I believe Beachboyc and xBMKx may have accomplished that task.

xBMKx is currently in 21st with 2643 points and 200+ games. So he's doing awesome, but not that the top.

Beachboyc is the highest ranked major now that qeee1 graduated to colonel. He has 2234 in 65 games, which is pretty good in its own right. I don't know if he's ever been higher but he's not too near the top.

Anyway, none of that has much to do with anything. What I really should say is good luck to you Nathan on maintaining such a high early score. Keep climbing!

Too bad I can't freeze time though- looks like I'll lose my next 5.

Any march toward 5,000 points is going to be like a tortoise- I need to keep my active games to a minimum due to work demands.

Here is a player for your to watch- Haucky. I know him from the annual Risk tournament in PA. He is an awesome player and his point total after several games ain't too bad!

hey, i just looked at your games, and theyre all classic. why?
