LMAO at this feedback

Postby DIRESTRAITS on Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:58 am

Once the game was in control, player failed to take his turn. His excuse was that he has a "life". This "life" he talks about must be newly acquired because at the start of the game when there was a chance to win, keep in mind a slim one, he played his turn very quickly.

He didn't leave me negative feedback for missing a turn, but for not playing quick enough. Can someone delete this?

I don't see why a moderator would remove this feedback. I think you should respond to it and then in the future potential players can decide whether they want to play a game with you or with someone else who may have less of "a life." Surely, that should be the choice of your potential game partners, should it not?

You also, never say whether the criticism is true or not. Did you play fast and furious at the beginning and then stall at the end when it became apparent you didn't have a chance in the game? If so, it's a valid point then and should not be removed.

If true, would it have bothered me so much that I would leave you negative feedback? Probably not, but then I wasn't stuck in the game with you. Also, the "I've got a life" comment is a bit arrogant and doesn't really address the concern the other player expressed. A tactful response in the game chat might have saved you the negative feedback in the first place.

If you've really "got a life" that doesn't permit you to play here at CC without irritating other players, then that's OK -- enjoy your life. Happiness is the best revenge.
Cheers,

Anyone who expects Sequential to be RT needs to be banned anyways. Can we do that? Seems a lot better then just removing the feedback... Remove the player!

straits, the guy isn't slamming you for playing too slow, he's calling you a bad sport, i.e. you ditched the game when it became apparent that you would lose. ya, that's fairly impatient and maybe you had an excuse, and a neutral feedback would seem more sensible, but the feedback system functions, in part, to rate your fairness and honor as a player. maybe it will get removed; this guy apparently feels that you are a sore loser and that people should be warned about you.......cheers

I Pmed a person who did that I said to him

My Angry PM wrote:Now please can you withdraw the negative feedback, I have not done anything wrong and it is not against the rules to live in a different timezone

He deleted it the PMed me saying that He thought I was many things that I don't think should be posted in this thread.

And then I added him to my ignore list

its ridiculous to leave a neg for not playing with in 24 hours...its how the game is set up....the feedback isnt even supposed to be used for missing an occasional missed turn....

if he agreed to play real time thats one thing...but if he didnt and chose to do so for a while then was unable to, thats his right...

the negative feedback should be used to point out secret alliances....repetitive deadbeats, and abusive players....if used everytime two people disagree...it becomes a joke...and useless

Id rather play a player who cant finish a game every time, than one who is going to leave a negative feedback at the drop of a hat

well the record is 20 negs, so you have some work to do...not that im advocating it...perhaps you could actually play good games and just ask for negative feedbacks...

I don't know how to take this.....is this a dig at me saying i don't play good games lol thanx a lot.... the other thing i was thinking, if people read my feedback page and leave me possitive feedback anyway...... Then damn i must REALLY be good! I'm just so sick of the "this guy is a sucky player" comments i think it's just plain silly....
