missed turns

In recents weeks, I have played in games where one or more of my opponents have missed more than the allotted 3 turns. i am currently in a game where one of my opponents has just missed his 7th turn and is still in the game. Has there been a rule change?

Ahoy!

You are automatically kicked out from the game if you miss 3 consecutive turns.

So a player can miss more than 3 turns in a game---provided that they are not consecutive. Thus say a player could miss turns in Round 2, Round 6, Round 9, Round 10, and as long as the player didn't miss a turn in Round 11, that player could continue to play.
