my GIF avatar with motion doesn't move... why...?

Postby timthetuneman on Fri Mar 02, 2007 4:32 am

i have a GIF file on my computer that "moves" as does some of the avatars posted on some of the members profiles... when i submitted it into my profile... it did NOT move... i wonder why...? (this is a different one than i have loaded in there now) do i have to do something extra to get mine to work right...? i appreciate the advice... and thank you...!!!

Your avatar didn't answer the door when I knocked, the house was empty when I peeked in the window, and the utility company was turning off the gas while I was there. :D

On a more serious note, make a quick html page on your computer that uses your avatar gif and check it with your browser. If it still doesn't work, the file may have been bugged when you copied it to your system the first time. Try grabbing a new copy, if you can, from a working page.

Oh. Check and make sure it still has the correct extension too.
