My ignorance is showing.. WTF does that even mean?
What I said is absolutely true.. A big part of the game is knowing when to stop attacking. Judging by the post I quoted, and the OP of this thread, this guy has no clue..
.. I understand the thought process that you have something like 12 troops and you attack 2 or 4 and figure you should be guarunteed to win right??
Actually no, and this type of thinking is stupid.
Just because you start out with more troops doesn't mean you're guaranteed to do any damage. If you attack 2 with 12, and you go down 4 troops, consider stopping. Sure there are some instances where you need to attack or you'll lose next turn (the Sun Tzu calls this death ground) but this is rarely the case.
The point is, if you keep attacking and you keep losing, it isn't some fucking conspiracy that CC has against you. No, it's called bad luck. Bad dice streaks are part of randomness.
They will happen (whether you're playing online or in a real game), and they will lose you games if you let them.
I do know what I'm talking about, and just because I'm a dick about it doesn't mean I'm wrong..
