revealing information in game chat?

Postby dakky21 on Sun May 02, 2010 4:10 pm

Is it allowed by the rules that in for example, doubles with 8 players (2v2v2v2), one player from one team, discover that i am holding the objective of the map (on fog of war yes), and then writes it down into chat for everyone to see...

That is just cheap, now my team doesn't play versus other doubles, but versus all, and all will attack me, and threfore that goes to the benefit of original poster, who can live for another round and take out a set of spoils and probably win after all...

I hope that "cheap tactics" mark is not the only thing I can do about it...

Thanks

No it is not against the rules. This taken from the community guidelines. But you have to realize the other teams might not believe what he says.

* Using the game chat to announce where a player's territories and troops may (or may not ;) ) be is NOT against the rules. It may come across as unfair or not in the spirit of the game, but feel free to find strategic applications of this non-rule.
