How else would you expect us to speak when we are, at the same time, sucking on doo-doo?

2009-11-02 18:23:03 - Emmdizzle: Start multi-team dubs games and invite random players to take one spot of each team. This way you won't have competition. If a decent player joins one of your games make sure to foe him even before the game is over so that you can keep avoiding competition

Great advice!

okay fine, he's got a very good ranking because he foes people
you got to colonel because your rich (or at least you bought an expensive computer) and you're online all of the time
where's the strategy in either of those? And what are you going to help by creating a flame thread?

I'm quite convinced that even if I did have a 'super-fast computer' I would still be shit at speed freestyle...I just don't think all that quickly.
I've always repected those guys. By the time they've taken 10 territories I'm still in the "Hmm, so what do I fancy having a pop at?" stage... no super-fast computer is going to help me. Shit, I struggle to complete my turns in 5 minutes at speed, sequential flat on maps I know well.
I feel that rather than boosting up Becky and his ilk (He is a chap, right? This has always been unclear to me...) I've just made myself look a bit, well, thick. I wonder if anyone else struggles to play their turns in 5 minutes? I usually need 3-4 minutes to work out a key move and am then struggling to do what I need to do in the time left.

haha. You are right, Mr. C!
I have very nice computers, and yet it takes me 5 minutes just to deploy. And that is after having spent a fair amount of time deciding where to put those troops. I will never be a freestyle player (much less a fantastically fast one), regardless of the awesomeness of my hardware.
So I say to Becky and his/her ilk...you may be fast on CC, but do you have comparable speed in what we like to call reality? For example how fast can you open a jar of instant coffee, pour one teaspoon's worth in mug, pour water, open coffee mate, pour one teaspoon, stir, close jar of coffee, close coffee mate and put said mugs back to the right place?

Or how fast can you get wallet out of trousers, open wallet, get note, (clock stops for the usually retarded shop assistant) receive change, put change back in wallet and put wallet back in pocket?
Or for that matter how fast can you open a new pack of fags, get out the first one (often tricky), light fag, close pack and put it into your pocket?
