How do I transfer a country to a teammate?

I'm brand new, so I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm under the impression you can transfer a country to a teammate, but I can't find directions as to how to do that.

not directly, they way i generally do it is leave only 1 guy n the country, and the teammate attacks it and takes it.

you can give your teammate armies, but you need at least 1 army per country. You can fortify your armies into their neighboring countries, or place armies onto their countries

You can deploy (at the start of the round) or fortify (just before the end of the round) your armies to your teammate. The minimum army in a territory is 1.
