How exactly are doubles games scored??

Do you average the teamates scores and divide the winners average with the losers average? or do you add the teammates scores up and divide the winners total in the losers total??

Maybe I'm missing something here....but those two things are identical.

((A+B)/2)/((C+D)/2) = (A+B)/(C+D)

It doesn't matter if you average because the denominators in each would cancel. However the correct answer I guess would be the second one you named since the first has unnecessary calculation.
