Just don't.

^^ Agreed.

I just joined a game with a mate, but Im simply hating this map. Beyond the mega war of subs I said much time ago would happen (and I dislike), I cant believe how boring is to search countries names in that huge list to attack, and make 485.976 fortifications in 1st turn. Boring map. :( :( :(

Haha Marv, I thought you would have better knowledge of world countries than to spend hours searching for them! :)

I've been eliminated from one game, and another, things didn't go as planned, but I started up two more games for fun.

Im not searching the map, but the drop list where you choose your attacking country and your target. Terrible.

That's really not that big a deal.

And I'll agree it's very different to classic risk, but it is still interesting and entertaining. Sounds to me like some of the old guard are unwilling to try something new, as they're once trusted tactics suddenly become useless, and they're on a level playing field with everyone else.

i have two 6 liter engines... but i dont think im compensating for anything

your guys dont think im insecure i hope. I try not to be. I really hope Im not

And i stand corrected on no cards, cards just dont matter, except as perhaps a last ditch effort for someone to stop bonuses...

I do think that your luck can influence this one to a large degree though,
over the volumes of 70-100 armies all attacking, if you lose a lot, you lose a lot. if your 30 army force gets stopped early, there may very well be no way to come back from it, especially if your opponents 30 wipes out 29 of your territories unchecked....

but fun as hell, i say

what the 'L is a liter?

and if I do the math
(um, let me see, add... no, multiply... carry the one, yes that's it)
Well, whatever they are, you have a dozen of 'em!

I hate it, its too cluttered, you can barely tell where the borders are, and it lacks all the good elements of classic map.

What do you think the good elements of the classic map are?

Im sorry robinette, i will guess they are close to 380 cu inches of area displaced by the pistons, where the gas fumes are ignighted by the sparkplugs which in turn push either truck quickly along...

i believe i was commenting on one of the earlier posts commenting on compensation via large engines or something....

Um... how do I say this this right way...
think of something funny... no no... not that...
think of something funny but in a witty way... got it?
okay, now with that kind of humor in mind, lets relook at this, shall we...

Robinette wrote:what the 'L is a liter?

Upper case L is the accepted international symbol of the litre (lowercase is also okay)
ALSO... this sentence was written so as to appear to say "what the 'L [hell] is a liter...

You get the idea...

[size=9]Anyway... the muscle I referred to in the early post is 5.735 liters - 1969 350 ci Camaro RS Convertible and the small sports car is 1.6 liters - 1967 Datsun 1600. But I also have a toy to use in dirt with 7.44 liters - 1972 454 ci Cheyenne 20 4WD . And while all these L's aren't compensating for anything that I am aware of, it is starting to appear as though I am bragging... which is not a good thing. Actually, I need all these different vechile because my multiple personalities insist on it

i got it ty very much,

my god woman...

hold on let me think

Hows this for compensation

two 4x4, 6 L V8 Vortec Engines surrounded by quite a bit of red paint and four doors, just to insure i hit something everytime i park

never saw the part where you keep your muscle in the garage...

what have you got in there...chevelle, charger, vette? what are we talking about here...lead me in

myself i prefer sports cars, like the Bimmer Z3 (((2.5L)))i used to drive, which drove away along with some other things...

i`m in a 3 player freestyle at 1st i was getting battered but didn`t mind it`s a good map they both left me alone with oceania and then the middle east i fought them both evenly then i ended up with the whole of europe and advanced from there just cocked up at the end blocked my path to his last 30 or so armies when i had 93 in africa. so fircoal has another go i`ll be waiting.
