Real Time in half an hour!

I recently entered into a real time doubles game and the opponents both left after half an hour! Just wondering what people think of this! It really annoyed me and I have mailed one of the participants and politely requested that they let opponents know prior to starting if they are only going to be available for a short time and recieved an aggressive reply.
Any thoughts or opinions would be welcomed!!

to me, if you join a real time game, that should mean you know you will have more than hour to participate barring any circumstances beyond your control. I would never join a real time game unless i knew i was going to be available for at least the next 2 hours.

I real feel sorry for you hammer! and to get an aggresive reply when you were so ploite yourself,thats ridiculous, what kind of person must those players have been? dreadfull. well my heart goes out to you mate, i really do hope you get over it and hope that this bad experience does not prevent you from playing some great RT games in the future! LOL!!!!!

I think the issue is that had I known it was only going to be half an hour I would not have started the game. And I think you will find that i am trying to get a resolution to this happening again and am in no way making any accusations or negative comments about the people this involves. In fact I respect there skill and enjoyed the banter so nothing personal!

I KNOW! I've had players leave after 1/2 an hour too!!! oh, but I killed mine off in the 2nd round. I guess that's different, eh?

It was a sarcastic reply to a pathetic post number 1 and number 2 i'm not american, how could you insult me like that.

Hi Jallen,
as much as i think I am getting to understand how you think I feel that you really are a little too aggressive. These games are supposed to be a bit of fun and not an opportunity to slag people off. In my initial post I was merely trying to see what people thought. I never mentioned any names because i did not want people to prejudge you, however your attitude in these posts have made me realise that maybe you deserve whatever you get from this (be it good or bad). I have never once insulted you and felt that after our game we had resolved our differences but I choose not to engage with people who think i am a (k)nob cheese. You are enitiled to your opinion my friend as I am equally entitled to use my ignore list. I am truly sorry it has come to this but I don't feel that there is any other option open to me!
