When your forum banned you cant use the PM system

Looks like Twills gonna ban me again for no reason. but so you know when your forum banned you cant use the PM system. Wicked told me they were gonna fix this, but to date they havent.

So if I didnt get back to you, that is why, and I probably wont be able to answer the hundreds of them if Im banned again...

You can still use Chat in games, maybe live chat and feedback

I said we'd look into the possibility of this with the new forum software we're upgrading to, if it was an option there. It's a phpbb issue, not a CC issue.

If you want people to be able to contact you, put your email address and/or MSN/AIM contact info on your profile page.

I've found that an issue as well (obviously not from being forum banned though). When I have to play from public computers (in the summer, etc) at libraries and so on I can't get into my inbox because it is blocked because they discovered our forums were too controversial and obscene (would you believe it?)

i completely agree... i enjoy nothing more than when a former foe PM's me late at night asking if i want to roll a speed game or R/T game against
some other team. most of my CC contact with others is in chat engines and on skype... my close friends that i truly know, the phone... anyway, the real way to deal with this entire issue is to NOT GET BANNED!!!-0

It's not that hard to avoid getting banned on this site! The mods are reasonably liberal in my opinion.

yeah, unless it is a great thread that is under 24 hours old, with over 1200 views, over 100 quality posts, sitting at the top of the board for it's life... then they get crazy and merge it with whack threads and send it to die somewhere else...

The cool thing about PHPBB3, is that you can actually ban someone from posting certain forums, ban someone from all the forums, ban someone from simple PM'ing, or just plain ban someone.

Technically yes. Also, Flamewars could be hidden for people under 13, but I think this was also included with PHPBB2, but with PHPBB3, it's a much easier process. The main problem I have with 3 is it doesn't allow HTML and I have to lean a totally new code for writing PHPBB3. I'm learning though.
