Team Games

Postby karumai on Sun Sep 17, 2006 1:40 pm

So, anyone actually like them?

7 games (1 triple and 6 doubles) has furnished me with 0 wins and a grand tally of -145pts.

I detest them beyond my ability to express in English (or Japanese, which I also speak) and now refuse to play them.

If it isn't pitiful placement it's deadbeating partners. If not partners, the I'm sure I can rely upon atrocious rolling to scupper my designs in the end.

Imagine a 25-year-old man jumping up and down squealing "I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!" and you'll have a fair idea of how I regard my mortal enemy.

Despite that, I've managed to amass over 1,700pts in less than 50 games. Of course, I would be hovering around colonel level were it not for the criminal theft of my aforementioned points.

What about you lot?

I used to like team games, with the old rules... I dont play one since the changes.

But you can trust me: you only need to find good partners. Win public team games is very easy, just because many people has problems like yours: deadbeat partners, and lack of team strategy.

But, if you really like good singles games, maybe I can invite you to one of our dragoons games :)

I loved team games when I played them. Some great strategy and memories were found in my team games. They are my more memorable victories.

I usually play singles, but if I can get partners I know will stick it through I'll play team games, too.

I seccond that

Playing in a team-game could be a weakness or a strenght.
I play 12 weeks CC now, and i like the sucsesfull doubles/tripples (teamgame) we have won.
Like moving as one force , and comunication is very important for this.
They are risky, so knowing who to team up with is a advantidge.

After my first team-game and one deadbeating partner, i double check first before i play.
And ill try to check on our comunication as well.
But i'm still learning.

The various religions are like different roads converging on the same point. What difference does it make if we follow different routes, provided we arrive at the same destination.
