Debug by day, Lag by night.

Postby Ieviathan on Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:04 pm

This paid service has become un-usable in the evening hours.

I'm willing to understand CC is a young, growing site and will need debugging from time to time but the lagging is un-believable.

I've talked to a few who wonder if its wise to renew their subscriptions while the site is un-usable in the prime playing hours and frankly, I wonder as well.

I'd appreciate anyone else's thoughts on the subject.

depends what timezone you are in.

Here in the East coast of USA, i got lagged a ton for about 10 minutes at about 10pm last night, but it started working again quickly. everything else has been fine for me.

I haven't had anthing ruined by lag, yesterday I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for me to be able to take turns again, but that isn't bad...

The slight problematic issue about lag has benefitted me in such a way that I've won a few games that I should have lost so I'm not going to whine. :D

Gotta say I haven't been impressed this last week or so. Normally CC runs smooth as anything with only the odd glitch but these last few days have been hell

They've been hell for us too :(

We're working to add more servers to the setup to keep everyone running, so bear with us while we do.

We've had a spike in games played and members active on the site and our existing machines are feeling the strain during peak times.

We'll get things back up to speed as soon as possible.
