Im quite often asked for advice by PM and always try to help, when Ive offered it in games though it is usualy ignored or taken badly. Partly this is because they question the motive but mainly because they think that they know best,either way I dont bother any more unless asked.

If it will benefit me I will give anyone advice ingame, I'm here to play an enjoyable game and win it in the end. I might give advice after a game as well, maybe, if I can be bothered.

If I see a new player making a mistake, common in terminator escalating...I will usually try to give them help without directing their moves. Especially if they openly question why I dont break a 2 bonus continent, when the next 2 players are about to cash a set.
