In AoR: Magic, better to take Vesk or Aosa?

In AoR: Magic if you start in Mua you have two villages to choose from. Aosa opens up Sler for attacking, but it's right next to log camp. Vesk opens up two villages, Eon and Ikalu. One is very close to another castle and another is right next to blacksmith.

So is it better to take Vesk or Aosa?

depends who own Ghyr and Figye, and what you are planning to do.

If you are planning to make a kill, go to the weaker side.
If you are just expanding or defending, go to the stronger side, taking out some of that stronger player's bonuses (but dont weaken him enough that another player can kill him).

Then i would stay in mua, take the resources right there, and build on the two docks, leaving 5-10 on mua, depending on how many you can spare.

Basically, sit there and build until you have a big enough army to kill your opponents, and enough reserve to defend in case he is stronger than you predicted.

Or, you can take the ice bridge and have easy access to all of the north part of the board by taking Voigth and using that dock to access the other castles, as well as the sanctuary.

If its freestyle...You'd go mua ubb..then the resource pair..So Aosa wouldnt be an option...If you take duisch first..you are leaving your self open to attacks from sler.
If its seq...sit 10 on vesk and 10 on aosa
