Negative Feedback [Outdated]

Postby KoE_Sirius on Mon Jan 28, 2008 10:43 pm

Please give me some guidelines on when to leave negative feedback...Its seems we are in a nanny site that keep negative feedback down to a minimum and the ones who cry loudest get the most removed.

You'll need to be more specific than that... What are the circumstances?

feedback was removed for being non factual...I explained that it was and how..Then he said..It was different game styles.
On another feedback he said i had it in for a player and just wanted to leave negative feedback...This goes on and on.

Claimed a victory after I was attacked by the other 2 players round after round. Then decided to rub my nose in it when I called the other player dumb for attacking me. I think they had a secret. No honour in winning a game when cheating to do it. 100% Factual...Feedback Moderator needs a kick up the ass [edit]
Ellemann's response: well... First of all the guy was simply easy to beat, second his accusations are redicolous. I took out the players offensive force he accused of not hitting me. After he saw he was beat, he suicided on the 3rd player. Then after that mouthing and accusations of cheating. An extremly unpleasant player, best avoid. Read the feedback in his profile and you know... Also frequent accuser of cheating..
Deleted by moderator for this reason: Not factual
Deleted Missed the first 2 turns. Then hangs me...Its was only through shear luck that he managed to kill my remaining 3 troops in USA a turn later.I don't think this is trivia at all. [edit]
gonzo111's response: hey missed ONE (the first of a speed game) turn apolagised got an extra 3 armies(not my fault this guy was in a week position).......if this isnt retalitory feedback i dont know what is

The mods are nuts here...Tehy wont remove my 3rd feedback...Even though it is clearly relaitory.

Played a game against this player and he sucided me letting the other player take my cards in an escalating game(read the game chat). 2 days after the game had finshed i leave this player negative feedback. Low and beyhold within 20 hours i get negative feedback from this guy....

Hello

mods...this is relaitory feedback!!!! Any of you mods need a dictionary? Man if this site wasnt such a joke, i would sue their fucking arses!

First, if you want to appeal a decision made on feedback, just reply to the eticket email you were sent.

Of those two above, the first one was deleted as non-factual since you weren't "attacked round after round" as you claimed. If you want to suspect them of a secret alliance, back it up with fact. Don't just throw a cheating accusation out there because you didn't like how the game was played.

For the 2nd, missing a turn is considered trivial. The feedback guidelines specifically state, "do not leave feedback for something trivial like missing a turn."

In the first I was attacked round after round.......It doesnt show on the game log, because I out numbered the armies attacking me...The attack came as 15 vs 30 etc......so its 100% factual....How else did my troops disappear ?where are the feedback guidelines?

Hulmey you only have to read through my feedback to see they are all untrue or retailtory.....I cant be bothered to argue the point...They are what they are...which is someone elses opinion........In one of the negatives...he changed it to a neutral...It assumes what i am thinking...How on earth someone can do this I dont know?

Keep completely untrue. There is no way to appeal a descion, coz the MOD keeps quoting this same shit all the time

Negative Played a bad escalating game. Very bad tactics!! I was lining up totake a shot at removing a player when blue attacked my big stake. Thus letting yellow kill me off and take my 4 cards and win the game. The ignore list was made with this player in mind, put him on yours!! [edit] [withdraw]
FiveCardArmy's response: I stopped him from winning so I could have a chance to win. Booohooooo. Paaaleez. 1632195

I just read through the entire game log carefully to make sure I wasn't missing anything. You weren't attacked until round 7, when you and yellow ran into each other. you guys went back and forth and you took him out. During this time, green was busy taking over the northern part of the map while red was busy taking over the southern part of the map. This is typical in fog games on that map... take over as much as you can while staying out of view of the other players. After you took out yellow, green continued his march across the top and red moved up from the north, with you in between the two. They both ran into you around the same time, and attacked you since you were the only one they saw. So I still don't see the "round after round" attacks you speak of. The game played out fine, with nothing that looked like a secret alliance taking place.

I'm still willing to keep an open mind on this if I missed something.
Please point it out specifically though.

When the appeal system first started...It used to ask are you happy with the decision and ask you to close the subject...Now they close the eticket and send a parrot message.

Feedback Guidelines

* Leave only fair and factual comments that relate to a specific game.
* Do not leave feedback for trivial things like missing an occasional turn.
* Do not use foul language.
* Do not fish for feedback (i.e. leave positive feedback to get positive feedback in return).
* Do not leave retaliatory feedback (i.e. leave negative feedback in revenge of negative feedback).
Negative this guy is a total idiot, the shittiestplayer i have played with who is above 1400 pts. instead of attacking the strongest player and blocking, he comes after me just because he wanted me dead for some reason, this guy allowed a guy who had played 1 game to win. dont play with this guy unless you want total idiotic play which allows the weakest player in the game to win. on ignore with him anyone who is looking for a decent game.
KoE_Sirius's response: I had to kick him out of Knight Of Empire Council for being rude to other players..Then surprise surprise I get negative feedback the following day.Holds no truth. [edit] 955525 aliakber1001 ( 64-5 )

Negative Its maybe my opinion, but it is my opinion... I think its lousy when some1 in a freestyle game waits his turn till others have done their moves and then go yourself and take the points... If this happens again Sirius Im not going for a third time... its taking the fun out of a game

This is a funny one :)

Humley your blatant disrespect for the moderators on this site is juvenile and inappropriate even more so than your abusive and profane language you used during game play. The moderators work very hard to make honest and fair judgments and give a great amount of consideration to what is probably an inordinate number of requests from players such as you.

If you don’t wish to receive negative feedback in the future, I suggest you refrain from abusing your opponents with foul language and focus on the flaws in your own strategy rather than whine during the whole game if things go against you. I hope you highlighting my comments illustrates how I refused to sink down to your level and aim to keep a high level of courtesy and RESPECT with those I play against so as not to ruin the game for others playing. NO ONE wants to hear that crap during the game. Save it for the feedback. If you can convince me otherwise that my comments were not true and factual, I will consider removing the negative feedback, but I will not as long as you have a negative attitude that ruins the game for everyone.

FiveCardArmy....I think you are right...The moderators do a job for free...I think they should get paid for it...I mean they have to put up with ppl like me day after day.....I'm not saying they do a good/bad job either, but even the worst employee in the world gets paid.

ya know, all the feedback probs could be done away with pretty easily
---------------------------------------
~feedback~
on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being awesome and 1 being "you suck" this person played a _________

check box if this person

A: deadbeated
B: cursed in chat
C:missed one or more turns
D: was polite in chat
E: was enjoyable to play with
----------------------------------------------

thats basically what feedback is used for (correct me if I'm wrong)
nothing to comment back on and the facts are easily checked if disputed
just a thought :D
