starting a game with a continent

have you ever started a game already holding a continent?

if so what was the biggest bonus you ever got?
(or just in a game you played)

I've started out with africa in doodle earth, la plata in 2.1, S.A in classic a few times and a couple of little ones.

I had a guy against me once with midlands in Siege! or a guy with highlands in Bamboo Jack (7 bonus)

in pearl harbor it is possible to start with massive bonuses

and technically you get bonuses in age of might, magic and fuedalwars automatically.. assuming you dont get wiped out before your first turn...which is theoretically possible

If it's your turn first - concentrate on using your bonuses to ruin their bonuses!!!

the most bonuses i've ever seen a guy start with was 15 and he went first. got to 19 before i even started the game. i won in 5 rounds
that was on Age of Merchants map

my best was a 10 on Age of Realms: Might but when you see that that's what everybody gets it doesn't seem so great

he's talking about continent bonuses not the bonuses you get for number of terits. so the 2 is for example if you start with south america on classic.

I was in the final of a 2000+ tournament 7 months ago.

We played the Artic Map, and our opp starter with the 'ice bonus" and got the start...


We lasted 5 rounds

I once started with all of Asia on 2.1, and once with the Castle in Siege.
