all the map icons r hyperlinks and lack never bothered to turn off the boarder stuff, so most of them have blue boarders. They act just like links on most websites that didn't bother messing with color schemes: they're normally blue, except for ones u've clicked before, or ones that go to places u've been before, which r purple. The germany map's boarder is purple for u 'cause u've clicked on it to see the overlay showing the full size germany map before. Try it with other maps (i.e. go to "start a game" or "game finder" and click on a map to preview the full sized version) and it'll have a purple boarder around it for the next month or so too, depending on ur internet browser and it's settings. Ur internet browser will only remember what's been clicked and where u've been in the last so many days, weeks or months.
