Well considering that players who happened to start next to their target were the only ones that had a chance at winning the game for themselves, I don't mind that you auto-attacked a random person by mistake.

it was a combination of me accidentally clicking the wrong button and me also not understanding the rules of assassin (i thought you had to kill your own target to win, killing another wouldnt end it)
