What are the numbers based on? for the spoils and such? Are they based on a scale?

If you are asking about the card set probability, yes. It is based on the number of cards held, the likelihood of having a set with that number of cards, and also the number of territories owned (for the +2 bonus). If you are asking about the next redemption value, it is based on the game type. The strength is based on the number of troops on the board, the number of regions owned, the zones controlled and their value, the troops due, and the card set probability.

Ahaaaa! That explains why two people can have different numbers with an equal amount of cards! =D>

Didn't know that...

Actually, at one point I was trying to come up with a new formula. In escalating games, one person's card set is actually affected by the number of cards that everyone else has. However, the coding became too complex because it needed to take into account the number of players in the game, the number of players between the person who was next to play and the user who was looking at BOB. I am not sure if I still have my attempt at the code saved somewhere.
