Rule change

I suggest that the rule on deadbeating be changed to allow players to intentionally deadbeat team games if it is in an effort to help their team win. There is nothing cheap about this. If it were allowed then both teams would have the option to use it. A tactic is not cheap or unfair if both teams have an equal chance to employ that tactic.

This would give one more option to players. The objective of game play should be to give the maxim amount of options to players so that they can use their skills to defeat their opponent. The more options open to players, the more the game is decided by skill, and the less it is decided by dice and drop.

Final comment. Saying that this is unfair is akin to saying that taking a bonus is unfair. Both players can play for the bonus. Who makes the better choices, wins more often. This just gives players one more choice.

I don't want to belabor this point, but before people post in return that this is unfair, they should consider what unfair means. If both players have the option to do something, then it is, by definition, fair.

Final, final comment. This would affect a limited number of maps, and would not totally change the game. Also, for those who think it won't work, then they should support this rule change and reap the benefits of bad play from those of us who try it out (if the rule is changed).

there might be arguements that stem from that, kind of a "i meant to deadbeat thing", iunno. not to mention people who do it offton will have there % of turns taken decrease rapidly. im not for this idea, less change the better in this case i think.

Deliberately delaying games I don't think is something we can to encourage.

If we're talking about fake time games, people have to wait a day or two for their turn anyway. If you have 10 games going, you probably won't notice. Plus, again this will only be advantageous on a few maps if any.

For those who like to deadbeat turns please put a "deadbeat" skip turn command button so we that like to play don't have to wait 24hours.

I love this idea. It would indeed add new strategy into team games.
