Concise description:
  • novelty in-map bonus items, enabled as an option by the host (default disabled)

Specifics:
  • My suggestion is to add a function that map coders can then employ for additional fun and games whereby capture of several defined key territories allows the player to instigate additional functions eg:
  • Imagine Frankenstein's Laboratory - hold a Power Supply and a Main Electric Switch territory for 1 round means that u can electrocute an entire other area, which either auto-zaps all armies or does a 10 army attack against each one, something shocking (hehehe!) and significant
  • same with holding the Dam and Sluice Gates, u can flood a valley
  • same with Key and Dinosaur pens, u can let the critters out! Alternatively this adds an extra number of units to your army.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • variety is the spice of life!
  • more gameplay options, more fun for coding in weird and wonderful options and notions when imagining a map

I know the game engine supposedly doesn't support this sort of stuff right now, but this sort of thing would make for some fun games.

My favorite still is the movable bonuses.
