Default setting changes in the reinforcement drop-down menus

Default setting changes in the reinforcement drop-down menus

Concise description:
  • Instead of an alphabetical default setting (for reinforcement “from” drop-down menu and reinforcement “to” drop-down menu), the default should be the last territory chosen (and if that doesn’t contain more than 1 troop, then by alphabet).

Specifics:
  • It’s not uncommon when playing with the unlimited reinforcement setting that you wish to tunnel troops to one specific territory to build up stacks. Now, once a reinforcement has been made, the drop-down menus resets to show the alphabetically first available territory to reinforce from and to in the two drop-down menus.
  • This could be changed to “locked” drop-down menus. I.e. (i) the reinforcement “from” drop-down menu stay with the territory reinforced from if there are more than 1 army still there, otherwise it goes back to an alphabetical default as a second-choice. And (ii) the reinforcement “to” menu stays with that territory if it’s possibly to reinforce there from the now “locked” (which it will be) or the second-choice territory.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • It will save time when reinforcing in games with unlimited reinforcement settings. As it is now, usually you have to toggle with the drop-down menus to build up stacks as the place you wish to “stack” rarely is the first alphabetical territory name.
