I use the foe list for two reasons: either the foe is a douche when playing, or they're a douche when posting. As much as I'd like to foe every self-aggrandising arsewipe on the forums, that unfortunately leaves me in a bit of a pickle in tournaments and the clan league when I'm teamed up against them. Personally, I don't see the problem at all, but apparently we all have to get along or some such, I dunno, I just work here.

Example A: Scott-Land does nothing but talk shit while pulling his own dick. I do not want to have to read his blathering diatribe. I am more than happy to entertain him in league and tournament games though.

Example B: colton is an incompetent cook who will never get beyond 1000 points. Mind you, I find his posts funny, or rather, I find him getting flamed funny. I do not wish to play with or against him, but I do want to be able to see the chain of events that has led to his arse getting handed to him on the forums.

Couldn't decide between #1 or #3.

But indeed a very good idea. I have nobody on my foe, but I'm sure people who use the foe would really like this!

I like this idea, it has been suggested before though. I mention this for reference only and not to invalidate this thread.

This leads to the ever-present question. Is calling someone a fucking moron considered a flame if they are, in fact, a fucking moron?

I take the point of view that it's only slander if it isn't true. Likewise, if you're telling the truth when you call someone 'a fucking moron' then you're just stating facts, not trying to provoke an emotional response.

You were used as an example and not toasted colon.

He said he likes having you in the fora, that's hardly a flame.

I also like the suggestion. Separate lists for people you don't want to play and people whose posts you don't want to read would be great.
