"Secret" Diplomacy

I understand that Conquer Club wants to fight secret diplomacy, but the parties should be able to talk behind close doors when negotiating. As long as they announce the final truce/alliance/pact in the game forum, why is it any less valid?

i like the idea it will make you able to not look so inneed when begging people

Truces should only be "non-aggression pacts" Nothing else. No coordination etc... And should absolutely be in open view of all parties. If ya wanna play dubs join em. But to allow any "secret" diplomacy in the guise of truce making only opens the door to more cheating.
