Auto canceling certain games

Concise description:
Is there a way a game can automatically be canceled if everyone misses their first turn? Or if perhaps everyone except 1 person misses their first turn?

Specifics:
I am playing a 4 person game, I started the game and went to bed, woke up and it has 3 new players... 3 days later, everyone missed their first turn:

2009-06-24 12:24:14 - Game has been initialized
2009-06-25 12:24:14 - michelz90 missed a turn
2009-06-26 12:24:14 - lefreak missed a turn
2009-06-27 12:24:14 - assassinfred missed a turn

Game 5142013

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Who would want to continue playing a game where everyone except you is going to deadbeat? I don't want points from deadbeats, I didn't earn them.

don't bump the thread...it will get answered in due time. And no....there is no way right now to do this...you just have to deal with it and move on.

Unfortunately, it will probably get answered after the three days has passed. <laughing>

This could be something to look into, auto-canceling games under similar circumstances. Continue to discuss the pros and cons.

main con, would be if the people intended to come back...though i think thats fairly unlikely...and more unlikely that theyd remember, or care anyways...probably be happy to have an opportunity for a clean slate in a new game

question would be, where is the line drawn...

all players miss first turn, most, 3, 4 ,5..etc

It seems to me that it would only be "fair" if EVERYONE missed the first turn.

I see what you are saying, however I have no intentions of missing any turns in this game, as I don't want my missed turn percentage changing.

So now I can only have 4 games at a time and I am forced to wait 24x3 hours for every one round, and it takes I think 3 missed turns for a user to get kicked, so 24x3x3 and then the game is finished and I get points for no reason whatsoever except that I kept playing.

I doubt this is something that happens often, that everyone misses the first turn except 1 person, but I would say that when that does happen, the game automatically gets shut down. No winners or losers, and a message can be sent to the players. Only if the game is 3+ players.

If they intended on coming back then no worries, they didn't lose anything, they haven't even started playing yet, except 1 of them and that person didn't earn the points winning against deadbeats. So all of them can just join a new game when they get back.
