Speed Game Option For Non-Premium 2 Player Games

Concise description:
  • Allow non-premium players the option of speed games in the case of 2 player games.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
[list]
Alot of people play the game who are not premium members. They often start 2 player games hoping for RT but often getting deadbeats. With only 4 game slots, this becomes a big problem. I think the game experience would be much improved for non-premium players without giving away any real premium perks: most 2 player games are RT anyway.

I hate to sound like a hardass, but the idea is to try to get freemiums to want to buy premium, not to make the freemium experience so enjoyable that premium isn't something they aspire to. Your suggestion works precisely against that idea.

We currently offer a wide array of activities and features that all our users can participate in. That said, we also offer some exclusive Premium only features. Speed Games, for the most part (aside from random offerings by Lackattack to Freemiums on special occasions), will remain a Premium Feature.

As pointed out, the trick is to enhance Premium Membership, to make it more and more appealing. And we have something in the works as well. :)

Although I have caught myself wishing freemiums had more privileges, I completely agree with this.
