Maybe its just my old eyes but Green and Grey in 8 player games are colored too much alike.
How about a dot in the center of Grey?? Or maybe make it lighter??
Its only a few million lines of code so get busy!!!

You can either slap a big fat "g"/"s" in front of each number (which can be quite ugly), or maybe Lack could change the shades!

I've had trouble distinguishing between the white of neutral and the yellow of a standard player, on certain backgrounds. Turning on the colour codes when you're struggling is recommended, especially for 8-ways.

Those codes are so distracting for me.
The color difference is not that much of a difficulty on smaller maps but on the larger ones when you scan an area for your best starting position it has thrown me off a little.
Hey, I thought i'd just give these guys something to do since they took some of my money again and went beer drinking lol

when the colours are confounding, i turn on the colour codes for a few moments to distinguish them, then turn them off, as they are equally annoying (yet helpful)...-0

there are many varieties of color-blindness. I can see the green from the grey, put not the green from the red, or the "c" from the "p" (whatever they're supposed to be). As long as the site relies on color for gameplay there will never be one fix, so your best bet is to turn those color codes on. BoB is also helpful, as you can roll your cursor over a name and it lights up that player's terits.
Over in the Foundry we try to make sure that a map isn't entirely color-dependent... region names, differentiated borders, etc.
