Need More Info When Browsing Maps

Postby Hatchman on Mon Feb 16, 2009 8:52 am

When you click on a map image, more information should come up, such as: overall number of territories and exactly which territories start as neutral (if any).

Oops...Was I supposed to use a form of some type?

Here are some links which should provide the info you need.

  • Map and MapMaker Information - Shows who made each map, when each was made, ad gameplay elements for all maps. Here, you are able to search for maps based on many preferences.
  • Map Organization Project - Map complexity, territory count, continents, average bonus per continent etc.
    • Map Complexity List - Sorts maps into simple, moderate, complex and conquest groups. Used in the Map Organization Project.

Well, thanks. Those help. But what I had in mind was a panel of info that came up when you clicked on a map when you're just viewing it. Would be more convenient than having to have the map open while having to go to all those links as well.

Download chipv's Map Filter script. I believe that's the one that shows exactly what you're looking for.

Combine the map preview page and the new map info page?
