When lancehoch said...
One man's suicide is another man's last ditch effort to win a game. There is no actual definition of suicide on the site, so there can be no punishment for it.
He was absolutely right in the first part. And, as you pointed out, absolutely wrong in the second part

As you noted ...
Unwritten Rules
Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts.
I believe the important word there is "gross". One case of apparent suicide is not gross abuse.
If it truly was suicide then sure it's abuse but not gross abuse. To be gross abuse I believe it would need to occur in more than one game.
Game Finder reveals that you and summerhill have only played two games. You won one fairly straightforwardly and the second both you and Summerhill played well in; such that you were both among the last three players from five starting players on a World 2.1 game.
As lancehoch said, and I agree, one player's suicide is another player's last ditch attempt at glory ...
If there's an actual suggestion to discuss please let's continue to discuss that here in Suggestions & Bug Reports. If there's evidence to support a complaint of abuse please present it in the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum
thread you started **; though I would suggest that foeing summerhill, as you say you have, is probably the appropriate action to take.
2dank, if this post raises questions or comments that can't legitimately be discussed in this thread - since they are not on topic for the actual suggestion - please do send me a PM, I'm happy to discuss further.

** I can't believe how much time I spent on this post only to find after I finish it that you've had this whole argument already over in
Cheating & Abuse Reports.
